Data Deletion Policy

This policy explains how you can ask ParkingPack to delete your uploaded evidence, generated packs, and other personal data.

Last updated: 8 July 2026

1. Overview

ParkingPack handles information that may be personal or sensitive, including vehicle and charge details, parking locations, appeal descriptions, photos, screenshots, and documents. This policy explains how you can ask us to delete your data.

2. What you can ask us to delete

You can ask us to delete:

  • uploaded evidence files;
  • generated appeal packs;
  • incomplete form submissions;
  • account data;
  • support messages;
  • analytics data linked to you, where reasonably possible; and
  • other personal data we hold about you.

3. How to request deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request".

Please include:

  • the email address used for your order or account;
  • your order ID or Pack ID, if available;
  • what you want deleted;
  • any information needed to identify the relevant pack, file, or account.

We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

4. How long deletion takes

We will usually respond within one month. If your request is complex, we may take longer where allowed by law, but we will tell you.

5. What we may need to keep

We may keep limited information where necessary for:

  • tax and accounting records;
  • legal obligations;
  • fraud prevention;
  • security logs;
  • resolving disputes;
  • enforcing our Terms of Service;
  • payment records; or
  • defending legal claims.

Where possible, we will delete or anonymise data that is no longer needed.

6. Backups

Deleted data may remain in backups for a limited time until those backups are overwritten or deleted. We do not use backup data for normal business purposes unless restoration is required.

7. Third-party providers

Where your data has been processed by third-party providers, we will take reasonable steps to request deletion where required and where technically possible.

8. Automatic deletion

Our usual automatic deletion periods are:

  • uploaded evidence files: up to 12 months after pack generation, unless deleted earlier;
  • generated packs: up to 12 months after generation, unless deleted earlier;
  • unpaid draft cases: may be deleted or anonymised after 30 days;
  • payment, tax, and accounting records: usually up to 6 years where required.

Make sure your database cleanup matches these retention periods before launch.
